How It Started
From Student Project to Community Impact
Celebr8 Founders Steven Freed and Bo Yang first partnered with Lehigh University’s senior capstone program, volunteering their time to support and mentor students. That grew into a collaboration with students in Tunisia, who worked on the programming that brought the Celebr8 platform to life.
What began as helping students develop valuable skills has evolved into a mission-driven platform that empowers charities and nonprofits. Today, Celebr8 fundraisers invite supporters to create keepsake videos while raising money for causes that truly make a difference.

Celebr8 was founded in 2020 and is based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. We are proud to be supported by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Keystone Innovation Zone.
